How do I share the gospel clearly?

Explain that God is the holy Creator and rightful King, that every person has sinned and cannot save themselves, that Jesus Christ died for sinners and rose as Lord, and that God commands people to repent, believe the gospel, and follow Jesus.

The gospel in four truths

  1. God — God made us in His image for His glory. Genesis 1:27; Isaiah 6:3.
  2. Sin — All have sinned; sin brings death and judgment. Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23.
  3. Jesus — Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. 1 Corinthians 15:3–4.
  4. Response — Repent, believe, confess Jesus as Lord, and follow Him. Mark 1:15; Romans 10:9.

What happens after someone believes?

Offer a real next meeting. Read the Gospel of John together, pray, help them obey Jesus, lead them toward baptism and a faithful local church, and equip them to become a witness who makes disciples.
